Educated and trained in England as an interior and window display artist for C & A Stores, Susan has also worked as a freelance artist and calligrapher in New York City and has owned and operated a fine arts gallery in New City, N.Y. These experiences have combined to give Susan a wonderful eye for design color and detail. Susan moved from New York to Seattle in 2005 when her husband, Barry, was given an offer by Microsoft that he could not refuse, Susan trained with Barb Schwarz of Staged Homes as an Accredited Staging Professional. She founded her company Stage Right Now in December 2005.

Susan's co-chairmanship of a charity project for the local chapter of IAHSP brought her in touch with Leah Stahlsmith. Realizing how well they worked together and that a partnership based on their complementary skills and interests would give their clients a higher level of service, they formed their new company, Stage Right Now LLC, in January 2007. Their goal is to become the preeminent staging company in Seattle.
